Music Together of Decatur offers mixed-age music classes for children from birth through age 4—and the grown-ups who love and care for them.
What Happens in Class?
Each week, parents, grandparents, and nannies gather to sing, dance, and play musically with their little ones. Songs range from tender lullabies to full-on instrument jams, giving caregivers and children joyful ways to connect.
Every class is intentionally designed around how young children learn best: through exposure, exploration, imitation, and play—alongside a trusted caregiver. Music Together classes nurture relationships between young children and the caregivers who show up for them each week. It's a space where both littles and grown-ups feel supported.
Support That Continues Beyond Class
Each semester, enrolled families receive a songbook and a digital music download code, making it easy for nannies and other caregivers to continue the music at home, on walks, during playtime, or at bedtime. These take-home materials help children deepen their musical learning between classes while giving every caregiver a meaningful way to participate in their development.

Flexible for Nannies and Families
Nannies are welcome to attend with families or bring children on their own. Many caregivers find that Music Together becomes a highlight of their week — a place to meet other nannies, share experiences, and feel part of a warm, supportive community.
Life with little ones (along with busy caregiver schedules!) can be unpredictable, so we offer a flexible makeup policy to help families and nannies stay part of the music even when plans change.
